About Naija Food Carnival

A pilgrimage of food, high-energy entertainment, and the untold stories of Nigerian heritage

More Than a Food Festival

Naija Food Carnival is an entertainment experience created to celebrate the richness, diversity, and heritage of Nigerian food, music, creativity, and lifestyle.

We are a pilgrimage of food and high-energy entertainment, a convergence of people and stories. We are dedicated to preserving and telling the untold stories behind our local food, promoting indigenous food businesses, empowering entrepreneurs and entertainers, and creating unforgettable experiences that connect people.

Naija Food Carnival is where culture meets flavor, entertainment meets heritage, and people meet unforgettable experiences.

Every Dish Tells a Story

Nigeria is blessed with extraordinary food culture, yet many of our stories remain untold.

Behind every plate of èwedu and àmala, every wrap of fufu and fisherman soup, every spoon of àbacha, every cup of furà denunu, and every sizzling suya stand lies history, identity, struggle, celebration, and tradition.

Naija Food Carnival was born from a simple but powerful realization:

Food is not just what we eat, it is who we are.

In a world rapidly embracing global culture, many indigenous recipes, cooking traditions, and local food businesses are gradually fading into the background. We saw the need to create a platform that would preserve these stories while creating economic opportunities for the people behind them.

What started as a vision to gather people around food has evolved into a bold dream: to build Africa's most celebrated food and entertainment experience.

Naija Food Carnival is designed to unite families, tourists, creators, brands, chefs, artists, and communities under one atmosphere of celebration, discovery, and national pride.

Our Vision

To become the most anticipated food and entertainment festival in Africa and one of the world's leading cultural tourism experiences, attracting over 500,000 to 1,000,000 attendees annually by 2028 while positioning Nigerian heritage as a global cultural treasure.
